The main point with the 'Low Cost' business models like Jetstar and Franklins is the tailor-made and “smarter” approach to each job: using only the necessary equipment, only those services required, providing only the essentials that consumers want to pay for. Everything is tightly organised with no wastage. At the same time, wages are paid in the normal way, on time and for the number of hours worked. On inspection, such "Low Cost" operators must have particularly sensitive skills because they couldn’t continue to run if their customers didn’t return for more? Agreed?
